HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Rust or renewal?
What will Marshall’s football team show more of Saturday when the Thundering Herd return to action after enjoying a bye week.
Marshall (2-3, 0-1) welcomes Old Dominion (4-1, 1-0) at 3:30 p.m. in what is the team’s first game at Joan C. Edwards Stadium in nearly a month. The contest can be seen on ESPN+.
The Monarchs are coming off a 47-7 victory against Coastal Carolina and are led by sixth-year head coach Ricky Rahne.
Marshall has dominated the series with the Monarchs, winning nine of 10 previous matchups, but enters this one a two-touchdown underdog.
