Bihar Assembly Election 2025: Five residents of Bihar’s Batsar village were shocked to know that they have been declared “dead” in the draft voter list prepared by the Election Commission of India (ECI) after Special Intensive Revision (SIR), a report said. The voting for the first phase of Bihar elections 2025 is to be held on Nov 6. With less than a month for the polling, the residents from the village’s booth number 216 approached BDO with a memorandum that said: “Sir, we are alive.”

The voters who have been reportedly declared dead are Mohan Sah (Serial No. 2), Sanjay Yadav (Serial No. 175), Ramroop Yadav (Serial No. 211), Narendra Kumar Das (Serial No. 364), and Vishnvar Prasad (Serial No. 380), according to a report in NDTV.
