Two juveniles were shot Friday evening, one fatally, off Louisiana Highway 439 in Bogalusa, according to the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office.

WPSO deputies and Bogalusa police officers responded to the shooting at around 6:45 p.m. Friday.

One youth died at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa, authorities said.

The second juvenile has been identified. Investigators did not say what led to the shooting.

No other details were immediately available Saturday morning.
