SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- The Dirty Birds College Area location and Baja Paws have teamed up for a fun event, Tricks for Treats, taking place on Oct. 19 at 1 p.m.

Baja Paws was founded back in 2021 in an effort to rescue dogs stray dogs and cats from Baja Mexico and find them homes.

Since it's Halloween season, they are encouraging anyone attending the event to dress up. They are also looking for donations of dog and cat toys, food, bowls, leashes, carriers, and potty pads.

Plus, they will have adoptable animals on site as well.
