SPOKANE, Wash. -- Over a thousand books were gifted to the Spokane County Jail on Saturday thanks to Pages of Redemption, a nonprofit that provides educational reading materials to inmates across the state.

Pages of Redemption started this project two years ago. This was its first time making a stop in Spokane for what was the biggest drop off yet.
