CORNING, N.Y. (WENY) -- On Saturday, the Corning Lions Club celebrated 100 years of giving back. A special event was held to honor the service organization.
The Corning Lions Club was founded in 1925. For years, members have taken part in local service projects in the Corning community all year long, and also support global causes and worldwide humanitarian efforts.
For its celebration, the club hosted a centennial banquet, where several local dignitaries attended to acknowledge the milestone and honor the Lions members for their service.
