EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) -- The 104th West Side Nut Club Fall Festival wrapped up tonight, and club members say it ended on a high note.

"I think one rainy day doesn't hurt them too bad, obviously, it's never good, but the rest of the week has been so nice. Crowds have been good. They should make that up on the other days. You take what you get, and the next year, hopefully, we don't have that rainy day, we'll see what happens," says Joel Werner, the West Side Nut Club Chairman.

The festival got off to a slow start earlier in the week due to rain. But by Wednesday, the crowds and the half pot increased significantly. Some local favorites returned to the festival, including the famous Donut Bank Burger.
