The Australian Women's Prime Minister's XIII team has outclassed a spirited Papua New Guinea Orchids 50-0 in Port Moresby.

Veteran trio Quincy Dodd, Kasey Reh and Kirra Dibb steered the ship for Australian coach Jess Skinner's side on Sunday, while wingers Phoenix-Raine Hippi and Caitlin Turnbull grabbed trebles.

It was also revealed that the country's incoming NRL side would be known as the Chiefs.

In front of a full house at the National Football Stadium, Prime Minister James Marape announced the name had prevailed in a fan competition that attracted more than 20,000 submissions.

The Chiefs are set to join the NRL for the 2028 season. Loading Twitter content
