Montgomery police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found on Dexter Avenue downtown.

Montgomery police Lt. Tina McGriff told Action 8 News that just before 5AM yesterday, they were called to the 100 block of Dexter Avenue, which is about a block away from the Court Square fountain.

That’s where she says officers found an unresponsive man who was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other information has been released.
