RENO, Nev. — Jayden Denegal was 14-of-17 passing for 205 yards and two touchdowns Saturday leading San Diego State over Nevada 44-10 for the Aztecs‘ fourth straight win.

Nevada went three-and-out on the game’s opening drive and Jordan Napier – who finished with five receptions for 110 yards – returned the ensuing punt 75 yards for a touchdown just 59 seconds into the game.

Chris Johnson’s pick-6, which he returned 40 yards, gave the Aztecs (5-1, 2-0 Mountain West) a 14-0 lead with 7:11 left in the first quarter.

Nevada (1-5, 0-2 MW) has lost 13 straight in conference play and 11 in a row versus FBS opponents.
