NEW DELHI (AP) — Kuldeep Yadav snared three wickets in the morning session on day three as West Indies stood on the brink of following on in the second test against India on Sunday.
West Indies was 217-8 at lunch on the third day, with Kuldeep Yadav taking 4-72 in 22 overs.
At the break, Khary Pierre (19 not out) and Anderson Phillip (19 not out) were at the crease.
India leads by another 301 runs, after it notched up 518-5 in its first innings with Yashasvi Jaiswal (175) and Shubman Gill (129 not out) both scoring centuries.
Starting Sunday at 140-4, West Indies batters looked to gain time after a decent outing in the final session on day three.
Overnight batters Shai Hope and Tevin Imlach survived 6.3 overs before India found a breakthrough when Kuldeep Yadav bowled Hope with a deli
