The day after GHOE

My home is in South Dakota but I love visiting my daughter and son-in-law in beautiful Greensboro. Their home is in the Wendover/Summit area. The Greatest Homecoming on Earth revelry started early in the morning of the 19th and lasted well past midnight. What a beautiful day it was for a parade, football game and other entertainment.

Yet, I was appalled when I went on a Sunday morning walk around the neighborhood.

There was trash everywhere, including streets, sidewalks, driveways and front yards. It was primarily fast-food garbage and empty liquor bottles.

Set an example for the children. Have some consideration for the property owners and take your trash with you!
