It was an admission of errors in preparation and unmet expectations throughout the Spartans’ disastrous 38-13 homecoming blowout by UCLA on Saturday, Oct. 11. But also an acknowledgement beyond one game – that the issues of three straight losses can further devolve as the competition ratchets up, as the fans’ boos escalate in intensity.
