The Hawaii men’s swimming team finished second and the UH women placed fourth at the Triton Invitational, which concluded Saturday in La Jolla, Calif.
The UH men scored 654.5 points in the four-team competition. California won with 1,476.
The Rainbow Wahine finished with 517 points among five teams. California won with 1,202.
On Saturday, the UH men’s 200-yard freestyle relay team set a meet record with a time of 1:18.99.
On Friday, Hawaii’s Mario Surkovic won the 200 individual medley in 1:47.44 and Karol Ostrowski claimed the 50 freestyle in 19.73.
