Niall McNamara and Adrian Cami recorded a goal and an assist for 17th-seeded Demarest in its 3-1 win against 16th-seeded Emerson Boro in the Bergen County Tournament first round in Emerson.
Demarest (5-4-3) led 2-0 at halftime before both sides scored a goal in the second half.
James Cho added a goal for Demarest.
Angel Ponce-Montes scored the lone goal for Emerson Boro (6-7).
Demarest remained unbeaten in five of its last six games.
Demarest will face top-seeded Bergen Catholic in the second round on Tuesday.
