Sangareddy: A three-month-old boy died minutes after being administered polio drops at Bhimra village in Kangti mandal on Sunday, triggering concern among locals.

The boy, born after three daughters to Swarnalatha and Umakanth, reportedly fell ill soon after Asha workers Roja, Samudra, and Swaroopa administered the drops. The infant began crying continuously and vomiting before he stopped breathing.

The parents immediately rushed him to the area hospital at Kangti , where doctors declared him dead. Later, the body was shifted to the government hospital in Narayankhed for postmortem.
