**Title: Four Dead, 20 Injured in South Carolina Bar Shooting**

BEAUFORT, S.C. — A mass shooting at Willie's Bar and Grill on St. Helena Island has resulted in four fatalities and at least 20 injuries. The incident occurred early Sunday morning when a large crowd was present at the bar.

When sheriff's deputies arrived, they found multiple individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office reported that many victims and witnesses fled to nearby businesses for safety.

“This is a tragic and difficult incident for everyone. We ask for your patience as we continue to investigate this incident. Our thoughts are with all of the victims and their loved ones,” the sheriff's office stated on the social media platform X.

Four individuals were pronounced dead at the scene, while at least 20 others sustained injuries. Among the injured, four are reported to be in critical condition at local hospitals. The identities of the victims have not yet been disclosed.

U.S. Representative Nancy Mace expressed her sorrow on X, stating, “COMPLETELY HEARTBROKEN to learn about the devastating shooting in Beaufort County. Our prayers are with the victims, their families, and everyone impacted by this horrific act of violence.”
