Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Sunday inaugurated the four-lane 4.45 km cement concrete (RCC) road connecting the famous Jain pilgrimage site Mahudi with Pilvai, constructed at a cost of Rs 20 crore.

The four-lane road will be of great help for the devotees visiting the pilgrimage site. Moreover, the expansion of the key route connecting Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar with Vijapur in Mehsana district will help reduce traffic congestion, officials said.
