JEFFERSON, Wis. (WKOW) — The Nestlé Purina Jefferson Factory celebrated a major expansion at its 111 West Plymouth Street facility on Saturday.

The event included remarks from company leadership and local officials, followed by a guided tour of the expanded manufacturing space.

Factory Manager Francis Langer highlighted the significance of the expansion.

“This is our third line. It’s a over $355 million expansion that’s added over 120 people to our site.” Langer said.

The Jefferson facility has been operational for more than 115 years and remains a key part of Purina's production network.

“Our factory is over 115 years old here in Jefferson, and we’re celebrating Purina’s continued investment in our community and our factory lasting, you know, for hopefully another 115 years at least,
