As expected, New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara will play in the Week 6 matchup against the New England Patriots.

Kamara was questionable for the game because of an ankle injury he suffered in last week's win against the New York Giants — but he dismissed the injury as not serious this week. The star running back leads the Saints with 283 rushing yards this season and has also added 17 receptions for 77 yards.

There were some mild surprises among the Saints inactive list.

Offensive lineman Torricelli Simpkins , who has played 51 % of the team's offensive snaps this season as a fill in for injured starters, will not dress against the Patriots as two previously injured interior offensive linemen — Cesar Ruiz and Dillon Radunz — are healthy enough to return to action.
