As West Australians kids return to school, a new survey has revealed the top daily school drop-off and pick-up gripes among drivers.
The RAC school traffic survey found congestion, illegal parking, impatience and mobile phone distraction as the main issues irking drivers around school zones.
Just under half of the 726 people surveyed said heavy congestion at school drop-off or pick-up was something they witnessed every day.
Illegal parking was a daily occurrence for almost 50 per cent, followed by 37 per cent experiencing impatience and 36 per cent noticing pedestrians distracted by their phones.
Respondents also said they regularly witnessed drivers not using indicators, tailgating, and parking too close to others.
