Mark Sanchez is a free man for now.
The former NFL quarterback was finally released from the hospital, more than a week after he allegedly assaulted an elderly truck driver in an altercation that resulted in him being stabbed.
He would face law enforcement the same day he got booked into Marion County Jail to be fingerprinted and have his mugshot taken.
Footage from that moment shows a limping Sanchez sporting his arm in a sling as he makes his way towards reporters who were already positioned outside.
Leaving the jail, he told reporters he was “focused on his recovery,” as he thanked first responders as well as his surgeon for saving his life, per ESPN.
