FOOTBALL TOP 30 RANKINGS

1. DAMIEN (6-1)

The Spartans had a closer than expected game against Etiwanda, but eventually pulled away for a 49-31 victory to remain No. 1 in the SGV. Running back Malachi McFarland had his best game, rushing for 188 yards and three touchdowns. Quarterback Isaiah Arriaza played well too, throwing for 253 yards and three TDs.
