Bhubaneswar: The Dargha Bazar Police on Sunday arrested four additional persons from Cuttack in connection with the violent clash that took place during the Durga Puja idol immersion procession at Dargha Bazaar on the night of October 3. This brings the total number of arrests in the case to 13.

Earlier, nine people were taken into custody for their alleged involvement in the clash that erupted during the city’s idol immersion procession.

According to reports, arrests were made today based on video evidence. The investigation is ongoing, and police are working to identify and arrest more suspects involved in the incident.
