Those driving in Massachusetts this weekend might get passed by a car with the words “Cannonball” on the side.
This year’s Cannonball rally, which has run for eight years, began over the weekend. It is described as “an epic adventure celebrating eight years of open-road thrills, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments.”
Participants drive their vehicles along the Run’s planned route, which includes stops from Bar Harbor to Nashville. The run is designed for fun, exploration and camaraderie, according to the website , not for competition.
