Barbados: Basavaraj Horatti, Chairman of the Karnataka Legislative Council, and U. T. Khadar, Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, visited the Barbados Parliament during their official trip to attend the 68th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference.

During their visit, the two leaders viewed the Speaker’s chair that was donated by India to the Barbados Parliament. The chair stands as a symbol of friendship and parliamentary cooperation between the two countries.

The conference also offered an opportunity for the Karnataka legislators to understand the functioning of the Barbados legislature and explore ways to strengthen inter-parliamentary collaboration within the Commonwealth framework.
