A tradition at Rondeau Provincial Park continued Saturday as kids of all ages came out to enjoy some early trick or treating.

The Thanksgiving Day weekend is one of the busiest times of the year at the park’s campground and Halloween is a big part of the fun with kids dressing up in their favorite costumes to go from camp site to camp to site collecting treats.

Many campers who come from across the region get into the Halloween spirit by decorating their sites and dressing up. Park staff was also getting in on the fun by handing out candy.

There was a huge number trick or treaters that included youngsters walking into the campground from nearby cottages located outside the park to enjoy the event.
