CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A dog who was found tied up to a gate with a gunshot wound in September has now been adopted, thanks to Cincinnati Animal CARE.

Applebutter was adopted Saturday, the shelter said in a Facebook post.

She has been recovering at the shelter since September after a staff member found the female dog abandoned in front of the shelter’s intake lot.
