US President Donald Trump on Sunday soften his tone on China , saying that the United States "wants to help China, not hurt it." This came just days after the US President threatened to impose an additional 100 per cent tariff on Chinese goods. In a post on Truth Social, Trump referred Chinese President Xi Jinping as highly respected. He wrote, "Don’t worry about China, it will all be fine! Highly respected President Xi just had a bad moment. He doesn’t want Depression for his country, and neither do I. The U.S.A. wants to help China, not hurt it!"
