Michigan football not only suffered its second loss of the season on Saturday, but it is no longer ranked.

The Wolverines went from 15th to unranked after their 31-13 loss to USC, falling out of the Associated Press Top 25 and US LBM coaches’ polls this week.

It marks the first time this season that Michigan (4-2, 2-1 Big Ten) is not ranked. Sherrone Moore’s team did receive 73 votes, making it the second team left off this week’s AP rankings .

Ohio State held on to the top spot in the AP poll, followed by Miami at No. 2, while Indiana jumped four spots to No. 3 following its impressive road win at Oregon. Texas A&M also rose one spot, leapfrogging Ole Miss at No. 4.

Alabama and Texas Tech also benefitted from victories on Saturday, each rising two spots to No. 6 and No. 7, respectiv
