OGDEN, Iowa —
An Ogden home was destroyed in a fire Friday night. Fire officials from assisting departments say the call for mutual aid went out around 5 p.m.
Woodward Fire and Rescue says it began as a car fire in the garage and quickly spread into the home. Fire officials posted on Facebook, stating that all occupants were able to escape safely.
Officials say two Woodward firefighters entered the home to assist with pulling down the ceiling and extinguishing the fire in the attic. Perry and Boone fire departments joined Woodward Fire and Rescue, supporting Ogden Fire in bringing the blaze under control.
No injuries have been reported.
