A Copperas Cove man who was sentenced in 2022 to a term of probation after admitting to beating a dog was indicted last week on a narcotics possession charge.
On Wednesday, a Bell County grand jury indicted 38-year-old Christopher Scott Sandri on a state jail felony charge of possession of a controlled substance less than one gram. He was booked into the Bell County Jail on Sept. 18, and was being held with bonds totaling $20,000.
Back in 2021, a woman reported to the Killeen Police Department that Sandri was abusive to the family’s German shepherd.
