CLAYTON, Mo. – An Overland man will appear in St. Louis County Circuit Court on Tuesday morning for making threats against a tow business and its employees.

According to the St. John Police Department’s probable cause statement, John V. Fels Jr. sent multiple texts and made phone calls to Doc’s Towing on Oct. 6.

Fels indicated he would shoot up the business and then burn the building down, police said. He sent texts explaining there would be nothing to come back to and warned “y’all better it very serious BECAUSE im [sic] not joking about it.”

He also made similar threats to a manager and employee at the business.
