BROSSARD – The Canadiens marked Canadian Thanksgiving with big news on Monday.

Prior to practice, the team announced an eight-year contract extension for defenseman and Calder Trophy winner Lane Hutson.

Following the announcement, practice got underway at the CN Sports Complex.
