LANSING, Mich. (WLNS/WOOD) — Two Michigan State Police troopers rescued a deer that was trapped in a fence near Jackson Friday.
In a social media post, MSP said the troopers responded to a residence on Spring Arbor Road near Robinson Road for a report of a deer trapped in a wrought iron fence.
When they arrived, body camera video shows, they saw the deer's rear was too big to slip through the bars of the fence. It struggled to get through, but it was caught.
Troopers put a jacket over the deer's head to keep it calm, then looked at the tools they had available.
"Cutters," one suggested.
"You ain't cutting that wrought iron fence," the other said.
"Probably not," the first agreed. • (MSP First District) • (MSP First District) • (MSP First District) • (MSP First District)
