LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — The Harry Reid International Airport has opted out of showing a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) video due to it “including political messaging.”

The video features DHS secretary Kristi Noem blaming Democrats on the government shutdown. According to the airport, it wants to be mindful of the Hatch Act as it employs federal workers. The law restricts partisan and political rhetoric and activities amongst most government employees.

“We will continue to do all that we can to avoid delays that will impact you — and it is our hope is that Democrats will soon recognize the importance of opening the government,” Noem said in the video posted on a White House rapid response X page.
