MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- First responders in Montgomery County are on the scene of a crash on the Capital Beltway after a tractor-trailer overturned on Tuesday morning.

Maryland State Police (MSP) told DC News Now that around 5 a.m. on Oct. 14, troopers responded to the inner loop of Interstate 495.

When first responders arrived, they found the cab of the truck blocking lanes on the outer loop of the beltway at Connecticut Avenue, and the trailer blocking lanes on the inner loop.

The driver of the truck was taken to the hospital. Their injuries are currently unknown.

According to MSP, lanes were closed in both directions as crews worked on the scene.
