Starting Monday, documents filed in the Gaston County court system, such as arrest warrants, search warrants, and lawsuits, will be available online.
Gaston County is among the last in the state to adopt the state's online records system, eCourts, and District Attorney Travis Page said that the system will bring transparency to the Gaston County community about what's happening at the courthouse.
"From their own home with the click of a mouse and an internet connection, folks can access a court file, be it a criminal case, a civil case, an estate, and pull up the documents that have been filed at the courthouse," Page said.
