COLUMBUS/SEYMOUR, Ind. – The south-central Indiana chapter (Columbus/Seymour) of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) will offer its NAMI Peer-to-Peer education program beginning November 11. It will continue through December 30.
NAMI Peer-to-Peer is a recovery-focused course for adults with mental health conditions (schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, eating disorders, etc.).
Living with a serious mental health condition can be hard . This class teaches various life skills, adaptation tools, relaxation exercises, goal setting, and more.
The two-hour sessions will be held weekly on eight consecutive Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Columbus Recovery Café, 1412 Sycamore St., in Columbus,
