SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) -- A vehicle fire caused major delays at the Monitor Merrimac Memorial Bridge-Tunnel Wednesday morning.

According to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT), all north lanes are closed at the MMMBT as a result of the fire.

Traffic cam from the scene shows lanes blocked off just before the bridge.

There is currently no estimated time for reopening.
