African American Museum nears completion of major expansion

The African American Museum of the Arts (AAMA), at 325 S. Clara Ave. in DeLand, is close to opening a new 3,000-square-foot facility adjacent to the current, 800-foot space, but has run out of funding, Museum Executive Director Mary Allen said.
