Rainfall drenched the Valley over the last week, with Peoria receiving more than 2 inches, according to Maricopa County.
But it appears the city came out of the storms relatively unscathed in terms of storm damage.
Officials from the city's public works department said a streetlight went down in the Desert Harbor community, and there were some downed trees in north Peoria.
"The city had little weather-related impacts with the latest round of storms. Our ongoing maintenance efforts have been successful in keeping stormwater drains clear of debris, reducing street flooding impacts," officials said. "Also, this storm didn’t produce the winds like the previous ones."
