PORTLAND, Ore. (KPTV) — Opponents of President Donald Trump’s administration are set to rally in hundreds of cities on Saturday, Oct. 18, in a second round of “No Kings” protests.

The first “No Kings” demonstrations took place in June 2025, coinciding with a military parade in Washington, D.C., marking the Army’s 250th anniversary. Organizers say this weekend’s events are again committed to non-violence, with participants instructed to de-escalate confrontations. According to the organizers’ website , weapons are not permitted at any “No Kings” event.
