Tonight will be clear and chilly as that high pressure strengthens. A light breeze should keep the air mixed enough to prevent widespread frost, but some patchy frost could still develop in the colder valleys and sheltered spots where the growing season continues.

Thursday will bring another crisp fall day, much like today, with sunshine, highs in the 50s, and occasional gusty winds.
