PHILADELPHIA − Eagles cornerback Quinyon Mitchell returned to practice on Oct. 15, a good sign for his availability against the Minnesota Vikings , and for the team’s cornerback position in general.
Mitchell injured his hamstring Oct. 9 against the Giants , leaving Kelee Ringo and Adoree Jackson to finish out the game. It didn’t go well.
And that has the Eagles further lamenting the cornerback they let get away in free agency. No, not Darius Slay, but rather Isaiah Rodgers, whom they'll see on Oct. 19 as a starter at cornerback for the Vikings, who have NFL's No. 2-ranked defense.
