Catford saw two stabbings within just hours - and metres - of one another this morning (October 15), while in Islington a double stabbing left two teenagers in hospital.

This only includes the incidents reported on by Newsquest London .

The first incident happened in Islington when police were called to reports of a fight between several men on Essex Road just after midnight.

A 17-year-old boy was treated at the scene for stab wounds.

He was taken to hospital in a serious medical condition and is currently fighting for his life.
