ONEONTA, NY (WUTR/WFXV/WPNY) -- A water main break in the City of Oneonta early Wednesday morning has left some of the city without water.

The break was found at the SUNY Oneonta Campus in the East Dorm Drive Area at approximately 9 am on Wednesday, October 15. By 11 am, crews were able to identify the source of the break, which included the following areas: • Blodgett Drive, • Farone Drive, • Carson Road, • Brigham Road, • College Park Drive, • Bugbee Road below the intersection with Blodgett Drive, • Crestmont Terrace, • East Street, starting at about 170 East Street and above, and • Woodside Avenue, starting at around 47 Woodside Avenue and above.

Excavation has since begun at the source of the break and crews have said that repairs would begin shortly after. However
