The Arizona Cardinals made a cluster of moves on Wednesday, leading up to their opening practice of the week in preparation for the Green Bay Packers. First, the team opened the practice window for 2025 first-round defensive tackle Walter Nolen, who has been dealing with a calf injury since July. Secondly, they swapped around tight ends, which included a promotion of Josiah Deguara from the practice squad to the 53-man roster.

To make room for Deguara, the Packers’ 2020 third-round pick, the team placed tight end Travis Vokolek on the injured reserve and backfilled Deguara’s practice squad spot with tight end Pharaoh Brown.
