RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) - Richmond County investigators are searching for a suspect after a traffic stop turned violent.

Deputies say they pulled a person over on the 5700 block of Deans Bridge Road, when he ran from officers.

They say he then started shooting at deputies.

Folks are encouraged to avoid the area while the search is ongoing.
