AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF)- The Richmond County Sheriff's Office continues their investigation into the murder of an Augusta man Monday night.

The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Martin Gordon, who was a student at Helms College.

A GoFundMe Page set up for Gordon says he was a single father of two children, who started at Helms College in April studying to be an HVAC technician.

While the investigation continues, the Helms College community continues to mourn Gordon's loss.

In a statement sent to NewsChannel 6, a spokesperson for the school says:
